[173] al presente... la Missione biancorutena o bielorussa ha il diritto di usare delloratorio o capella... ma non esclusivamente, bens cumulativamente, con il legitimo ed esclusivo proprietario.

[174] The Congregation of Marian fathers... proprietors of Belvedere, now known as Marian House... lease said property for one dollar ($1.00) to the Most Rev. Vladimir Tarasevitch... Apostolic Visitator for Byelorussians, for the use of the Belarusian Catholic Mission, in England... This agreement takes effect from March 1, 1984 and is renewable annually...

[175]At this time I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Congregation for this generosity. May the Lord accept this your gift and reward you a hundredfold for it.

[177] wrote in 1985 to the late Bishop Tarasevitch, proposing what seemed to me an equitable solution. In the nutshell my idea was that Marian Fathers, having been recognised openly by the Byelorussian community as owners of Marian House, should sell it for a nominal sum to the Byelorussian Catholic Mission. Materially Marian Fathers will gain nothing, but they will also lose nothing, because the price of the property was paid in full. On the other hand they will earn gratitude of Byelorussians and have the satisfaction of knowing that by their act they made sure that the work so dear to the heart of Bishop Sipovich would continue, and Marian House would serve the purpose intended by him, namely being the religious centre for Byelorussians. It was also the intention of those Byelorussians and their friends who contributed towards the purchase of Marian House.
